bespoke vinyl pressing equipment detail

EVERY MACHINE HAS A SOUL.

Built by hand in Trenčín, Slovakia. We don't just operate machines, we built the mechanical heart of our facility.

Explore the Process
STEP 01

Preparation

Every project begins with technical analysis of your ideas. We reject the industrial rush, taking the time to prepare each master for the unique physical response of our presses.

STEP 02

Individual Tuning

The absence of a complaints department is a badge of honor. We tune the mechanical process of the press for every single release, ensuring the sound matches the artist's intent perfectly.

STEP 03

The Press

Our team carefully monitors every record throughout the entire manufacturing process, from the first test press to the final copy.

Details of the Process

Please take a moment to read this section carefully before starting your project.

01. Plan your project

- plan your album, EP, or single release in advance. We need a certain amount of time for production that cannot be shortened. It is better to have your records ready a month in advance to ensure they are available for your release event
- while we always strive to meet your expectations, vinyl production is a demanding process that requires precision and time. Quality records cannot be rushed
- as the smallest plant in the world, we depend on our international suppliers and require sufficient time to focus on every detail
- we do not take responsibility for external release dates or events, so please plan ahead to ensure the best results.

02. How to send your files - AUDIO

- the easiest way to provide AUDIO files is to send tracks individualy - name WAV files with the following naming convention:
A1_Artist Name - Song Title
A2_Artist Name - Song Title
B1_Artist Name - Song Title, etc.
- in this case, there is no need to provide a PQ sheet.

Or send us 2xWAV. file, two sides of your album with /silence/ gaps included and attach the PQ sheet - document that tells us exactly where individual songs begin and end, and where exactly the gaps are.

- regarding vinyl records, the fewer minutes per side, the louder the recording. For LPs, the ideal length is up to 20 minutes per side. If you provide audio that exceeds 22 minutes (max. up to 25 minutes), we charge an extra fee. These records are more complicated to produce
- if your album concept allows, it’s best if the sides are roughly equal in length.
- the best results are achieved when the more dynamic tracks are at the beginning of the side and the quieter ones at the end

- export your master files 44,1 kHz / 24bit or more

- for vinyl pre-mastering, it’s not recommended to "push" audio tracks to zero, compress them, etc.
- it’s best to provide audio tracks with sufficient "headroom," as this allows us to work with the volume and push it to the maximum
- the volume of the recording will be raised analogically by our mastering engineer/technician.

03. How to send your files - PRINT

- when preparing your graphics, please follow the template instructions. This will save a lot of time for both you and us and avoid delays in delivery
- the delivery time starts after we receive the CORRECTLY prepared materials
- pay special attention to color correctness, bleed, and proper export of files. We need PDF files only. No RGB, JPG, PNG, AI,...
